Family Flees Driveway During 'Out of Control' Fireworks Explosion - Watch Video

Resurfaced footage of a Nebraskan family's hurried escape after a failed attempt at a 4th of July fireworks show has resurfaced on social media.

In the footage, a group of men can be seen attempting to set off a single firework, which fails to ascend into the air and sends sparks in several directions.

One of the sparks unexpectedly hits a box of fireworks in front of a parked Honda Odyssey, at first setting off only one of the fireworks, which hit one child on the leg.

But the contents of the box quickly ignited, resulting in a massive, multicoloured explosion that engulfs the car. The adults and children present were sent fleeing from the driveway, with one woman running for cover with a baby.

According to reports, no one present was injured, and even more remarkably, the vehicle was not damaged.

Kerry Washington Making Documentary About "Jamaican culture"; PM Holness Thrilled - See Photos

It turns out that award-winning actress Kerry Washington visited Jamaica for more than sightseeing and attaining a tropical experience. It has been revealed that the director/producer plans to do a documentary about the "rich and vibrant Jamaican culture" days after she was spotted touring the island and getting acquainted with the culture.

This was confirmed following a meeting Kerry had with Prime Minister Andrew Holness, who took to social media with the news.

Holness shared a series of photos that showed the 46-year-old star smiling next to him, and a second depicted the two beaming with a gift basket as they stood among a group that included Minister of Culture Olivia Grange and Kerry's mom, Dr Valerie Washington, who was born in Jamaica.

Following another group photo, the subsequent images consisted of Kerry, Holness, and Grange engaged in a conversation, and the final shot was of Holness shaking Valerie's hand.

Below the image, Holness noted his delight in meeting the actress and added, "We discussed her documentary project, which focuses on our rich and vibrant Jamaican culture. I was deeply moved by her passion for authenticity and her commitment to portraying the essence of Jamaica with genuine reverence. Her dedication to capturing the true spirit of our people and our heritage in this project is admirable, and I have no doubt that her work will bring a renewed sense of pride to every Jamaican."

Concluding the post, he expressed his happiness, saying, "Her visit reaffirms our country's position as a global cultural hub, and we are thrilled by her interest in telling our Jamaican story. #Jamaica #Documentary."

Kerry Washington had a breakthrough in her acting career after starring in 'Ray' in 2004, which earned her an "Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture" award at the NAACP Image Awards in 2005. She is best known for her lead role as Olivia Pope in 'Scandal' for seven seasons, which earned her two Primetime Emmy nominations, a Golden Globe nomination, a SAG nomination, and two NAACP Image Awards.

She is also a mother of three and the wife of former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha. Kerry recently finished writing her autobiography, "Thicker Than Water," which will be published on September 26.

3 Killed in Kingston Shootings - Watch Video

Two separate shootings that were connected resulted in three men being fatally shot in downtown Kingston earlier today. A report outlines that the first man was killed sometime after 10:00 a.m. on Orange Street, close to the York Park Fire Station.

It was reported that four male occupants of a blue vehicle shot and killed a man. Police, who were nearby the House of Tranquilly Funeral Home, seemingly heard the shots and confronted the armed men, which resulted in a shootout.

Two of the perpetrators were subsequently killed, and an illegal firearm was seized. Meanwhile, the two other suspects reportedly escaped, prompting the police to launch a search.

Since the incident, footage has surfaced showing what appears to be a public transportation bus trying to evacuate the area as they discussed what they saw and the gunshots they heard. It also captured two armed men running along the street.

Near the end of the video, a civilian can be heard detailing that after the armed men shot the victim, the police instantly responded to the sound of gunshots by running from the funeral home and shooting at the men.

"One a dem jump inna di car and di police beat di car wid gunshot. About three police a shoot di car....Look like one di gunman dem inna di car get shot, di car crash further up di road."

Bounty Killer Blasts PM Andrew Holness for "Evil and Wicked" Decisions

Never the one to shy away from telling people exactly what is on his mind, dancehall veteran Bounty Killer rebuked Prime Minister Andrew Holness for his inability to provide public sector workers with a significant pay increase.

During a recent Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) meeting in South East Clarendon, Holness once again addressed the government's controversial wage increase approval. Seeking to further justify the increase, the prime minister explained that the duties of government ministers were far more vast than many believed.

Holness went on to discuss public sector compensation in light of the recent backlash online following the government's pay hike. Holness said that despite online discourse, which would lead one to believe that workers had received nothing, his ministry had gone through a process to increase public sector pay.

Holness acknowledged that they were not receiving what they deserved, adding that if he could pay public health workers and other critical service employees more, he would.

Reacting to Holness' declaration, Bounty Killer criticised the prime minister in an Instagram post. Killer called out Holness for his inability to significantly increase the pay of public sector workers, despite several members of the government receiving 200% increases.

"Evil and wicked in its plainest site. Can’t pay the public sector, who you said out of your own mouth that they are the backbone of our labour forces, but you could (raise) government officials salaries 200%/300%🤔," Bounty Killer wrote.

The Benz and Bimma deejay also accused individuals of messing with his Instagram account because he was highlighting the problems in Jamaica. Killer's main Instagram account was recently suspended again, prompting him to blast the social media platform.

"These are the things I highlighted why they f***ing with my pages, but I care zero. It is what it is; the truth hurts, but it works," Killer stated.

Man Gets Stabbed and Viciously Beaten in Los Angeles Prison by Gang - Watch Video

A prisoner at the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles, California, was brutally beaten and stabbed by a gang of inmates. The savage attack resulted in a bloody scene, but that did not stop the group from pummelling the prisoner multiple times.

Surveillance footage of how the incident unfolded inside the recreation room has surfaced online, showing the victim seated at the far end of the room when three prisoners approach him. They immediately started punching and kicking him, leading to other prisoners joining the attack.

Soon after, more than half a dozen prisoners had ganged up on the victim with punches, kicks, and stabs. There were no guards in sight, and the first attack lasted for a minute or so ending with blood stains on the floor.

The attackers, who retreated, were later seen standing on one side of the room while the shirtless victim is covered in blood. Despite his wounds, the victim clothed himself, paced, and tried to clean his blood from the floor for several minutes. However, the prisoners viciously attacked him again, and about 14 minutes after the second attack started, four officers were seen walking around the room as all the prisoners lay on the ground.

Agent Sasco has always had a close bond with his daughter Lauren Campbell, so it is no surprise that for her birthday he posted a series of tender pictures of some father-daughter moments with her.

Killer Whale Asks Humans for Help to Rescue Mother Whale; She Says Thank You With A Gift - Watch Video

A video of a killer whale stopping a yacht full of people in order to ask for help because of a mother killer whale in distress is making waves on the internet.

Footage was captured of a killer whale swimming up to a yacht to get the occupants' attention by swimming around the boat repeatedly. Realizing that something was wrong, rescuers were called. After they arrived the whales led them to where they were needed.

After navigating to an area just past a cave where the mother whale was caught in a fishing net, the rescuers freed her by cutting her fin free with a pair of scissors. The mother whale swam away, only to return later with a manta ray as tribute.

Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards is Youngest Player to Score in Gold Cup
