Twitter's New Logo 'X' Faces Backlash As 'Wtf is X' Trends Wildwide

Recently, Elon Musk-owned Twitter launched its new logo, 'X', as part of a major rebranding initiative that replaces its iconic blue bird logo with a fresh new look. Twitter users seemed to react differently to the logo, a white 'X' seen on a black background, which appeared on the network's website and accounts, which elicited mixed reactions as well as countless memes from the Twitter community.

The blue Twitter bird was depicted in one of the most popular memes emptying its desk as it stands outside Twitter's headquarters saying, "I was fired."

Twitter users around the world were left scratching their heads, trying to figure out what the logo meant. Which culminated in 'Wtf is X' trending wildly on the popular social platform. This reaction highlighted Twitter's power as a global medium for expressing opinions and making an impact.



'Wtf is X' is also trending in Jamaica, being the second most mentioned topic at the moment on the island as shown below:



Some users did not approve of the new logo and suggested that they preferred the bird symbol rather than the new logo. In addition, there were also some users who said that along with rebranding, the platform should likewise focus on improving other aspects of its user experience, especially for its non-verified audience.

After Musk took over Twitter last year, he introduced a number of changes to the company and changed the name of the company to X Corp as part of the changes. Musk shared his vision last October about making Twitter "the everything app". In his own words, "Buying Twitter is an accelerant to building X, the everything app.

Videos of Cardi B throwing a mic at an audience member are currently making rounds online, Cardi B has also reacted to the incident.

Footages surfaced Saturday night, showing Cardi B Performing at an event when a patron decided to throw a cup of drink at her.

Cardi B seemed shocked as she was dozed with the beverage, however, in a split second she retaliated, throwing the mic she had in hand at the same person.



She also proceeded to curse-out the person, however, she was not audible because of the noise around as the incident took place.

Cardi B herself has reacted to the incident by retweeting the video to her over 30 million followers on Twitter, the caption of the video says, "Jealous Ass Bitch!". Seemingly it was a female who throw the drink on her.

She also Tweeted the following, "WATER AND GAS INCLUDED …Literally #Jealousy," after the incident.

Over the years we have seen artistes being struck by objects thrown at them while performing, however, most artistes do not retaliate. Notably, Drake was struck by a cell phone while performing at a show in June, he did not strike back while on stage nor cut the show short like a lot of artistes usually do when attacked.



Locally, Malie Don did similar action as Cardi B after he was also struck while performing in Ocho Rios in July.

Bayka Talks Being Detained at Sumfest, His Rise in Dancehall and Having 14 Subjects - Watch Interview

Rising dancehall artiste Bayka whose real name is Ronaldo Romario Billings returns in an interview to clear the air on what took place at reggae Sumfest 2023, his recent rise in dancehall, attending Ardenne High School, Getting 14 subjects and a lot more.

Billings who was born on April 20, 2020, also talks about his breakout hit song Mobster and some not-so-good endeavours in the past, as a child, like returning home at 3 AM at times.

While talking about what took place at Sumfest to Jaii Frais on the Let's Be Honest Podcast, Bayka explains that he was just trying his best to put on a good performance in a manner he thinks he should. According to Bayka, he did not recall "Floyd" telling him to cut off on the bad words in his performance.

Bayka went on to highlight that several persons associated with Sumfest told him to perform how he wants to with the bad words, hence when he was on stage he had that in mind and was not trying to be disrespectful to the police or the show in general.

Billings also talked about his controversial song with RajahWild titled Hell Will Raise.

Mad Cobra Appears in New Video After His Arrest; Talks About Upcoming Show in Bahamas

Following his recent arrest on gun and drug charges, Mad Cobra is set to return to the stage, with the dancehall veteran promoting his forthcoming performance in the Bahamas. 

The fifty-five-year-old deejay, known for songs such as Flex and Press Trigger, is currently out on bail following his arrest in the United States on charges of possession of a weapon during a violent crime and the trafficking of cocaine.

Despite his recent run-in with the law, it was business as usual as he promoted what appears to be his first performance after his arrest.

Featured alongside fellow veteran entertainers Admiral Baily and Terror Fabulous, Mad Cobra will take to the stage at the Reggae Summer Rewind in Nassau, Bahamas, Saturday night. The deejay appeared exhilarated as he announced his arrival on the island in a video promoting the upcoming show, declaring that he and the other artistes were going to "shell" the event.



 

Mad Cobra, born Ewart Everton Brown, was arrested on Tuesday by Florence County deputies in South Carolina, USA. Mad Cobra was allegedly speeding in his BMW SUV when he was stopped by the officers, who initiated a search of the vehicle due to suspicion of criminal activity.

Two kilos of cocaine and a 9mm Beretta were reported to have been found in the artiste's vehicle. He faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.

In the video, Stylo G performed on a platform in the pool with a big booty woman who rocked an orange two-piece bikini. After asking if the woman was "firm," Stylo gave her a sturdy jam on her butt, resulting in the woman falling off the platform and into the water.

However, the woman did not hold back the second time they were going at it, and knocked Stylo off the stage when she kept throwing her ass back at him.

Woman is Divorcing Her Husband Because His Penis is Too Big

It is every bride's nightmare to encounter marital problems right after saying 'I DO'. This was what happened to one bride who found herself facing a problem that was literally too big for her to handle.

The unexpected issue came to light when the newlyweds were on their honeymoon, which was when the woman discovered that her husband's penis was too big.

The woman wrote a letter explaining her situation with her husband, whom she has been married to for three years. The pair said their vows within six months of meeting at the church they both attended.

"I met my husband in church and he appeared to be such a good man. I always wanted to marry a Christian," she wrote in the letter to Dear Pastor. "Listening to him testify, I thought I had met a perfect man."

According to the woman, when they met, he told her that he was a virgin because he did not believe in "wasting his sperm by using the condom." The man, who was 30 years old, also said that he remained celibate by praying. While the writer believed that he was a virgin, her sister laughed upon hearing about it and said she would not trust him. 

The letter also disclosed that the woman confessed that she had slept with multiple men, and her partner told her he would forgive her for that. Some months later, they were ready to walk down the aisle. Vows were exchanged, and they drove to the north coast for their honeymoon, but the special moment turned awful when she saw her husband's manhood.

"I was so disappointed. When the man took off his clothes, he had the longest and the largest penis I have ever seen. Right away I knew I could not handle it," she stated. "He lay on the bed on his back and trust me, his penis almost touched the ceiling. He tried to force himself on me, but he couldn't enter me."

Despite being at the hotel for days, the writer said that all her husband could do was give her oral sex.

The two are currently going through a divorce, and the anonymous woman said that she has been sleeping with another man. At the end of the letter, she stated that she would never take such a chance on another man without being sexually familiar with him.

The two nations have a history of engaging in illegal trade between criminals. In the past, there was a trade called the "Drugs for Guns trade." Jamaicans would offer drugs, especially Ganja, to Haitians in exchange for firearms.

Chronic Law Talks About His Musical Journey Plus Regretting His Lyrical Feud with Jahmiel, Reggae Sumfest Absence and 6ixx Camp - Watch Interview

Darkness artiste Chronic Law, who is not known for doing many sit-down interviews, recently shared his story on his musical journey. Law Boss says he knew from primary school that music was his calling, and he could have left school earlier than he did to pursue his career to how confident he was of his success in the music industry.

The entertainer, in his interview with Jaii on his LET'S BE HONEST podcast, outlined how he got started in music and remained focused despite not having instant success in the music industry.

"Me is a youth weh as me tell yuh me record me self uzimi, me always deh roun my thing them me have me Youtube page long time and believe in a my thing and just a release and know seh well one day one a dem ah bingo yuh zeet. Me move from deh so, me get access to studio so a never like a idle we a idle we see the way a come," Chronic Law revealed.

As he continued to share his journey, Law Boss was asked what song made him a household name in Jamaica today. The artiste revealed that both Hillside and Government. He also thanked Mad Daag and Bashy for believing in him from early in his musical endeavours.



Chronic Law also made some stunning revelations by outlining that one of the artistes who supported him before he got his break was Jahmiel. He then revealed that the subsequent lyrical feud between him and Jahmiel 'bun' him the most in his musical career.

Despite the many rumours and blogs which suggest that Chronic Law is no longer a member of the 6ixx Camp, the artiste was quick to dismiss those rumours by stating that he and the 6ixx Camp is on good terms. 

Jaii went on to ask the entertainer about him not appearing at the recently concluded Reggae Sumfest, to which he replied that it was because of health reasons and that Reggae Sumfest organisers knew three weeks before the staging of the event.

Tiger Attacks and Drags Woman Away After She Gets Out Of Car at Safari Park in China - Watch Video

A woman sustained massive injuries but managed to survive a brutal tiger attack after she was pounced on by the animal after leaving her car while driving through a safari park in China.

Footage of the incident, which took place at China’s Badaling Wildlife World, has resurfaced on the internet, revealing the woman's near-fatal encounter with the tiger.

The woman, identified by her surname Zhao, can be seen in the video exiting the vehicle she was touring the park in with her husband, mother, and child. The Badaling Wildlife World allows visitors to drive themselves or join a tour with others.

After stepping out of the right side of the vehicle, Zhao walks around to the left side of the car. While it was initially alleged after the incident in 2016 that Zheo left the car during an argument with her husband, the family later clarified that she was feeling car sick.

One of the tigers at the park approaches Zhao from behind, pouncing on her and then quickly dragging her away out of the view of the camera.

Her husband and her mother ran after her, with park rangers arriving as the video ends. While Zhao managed to escape alive, her 57-year-old mother, Li, was attacked by another tiger and succumbed to her injuries before she could be rescued.

Mr Vegas Talks About His Son Being Molested, Man Says Its A Lie - Listen Audio, Watch Video

After dancehall artiste Mr. Vegas blasted a man online who he labelled a child molester, he returned to the internet with more details on the situation. The deejay first shared a voice recording from the man, who was telling a different story than what Mr. Vegas told.

The man, Vanni, spoke out about being innocent of the allegations in the recording. He also shared that the story behind what happened actually began with him discovering Vegas' son having sex with a boy. This reportedly led to him receiving payments to keep the matter a secret.

"From we a young yout bro, when mi a bout 12 and him a bout eight deh way deh...di wull a mi dawg dem can testify fi mi cause dem know bout it...we ketch fi him son and one likkle yout inna di bush... After we ketch dem now di dog offer mi one money and him use to give me some money fi don't talk all di while... so we use to keep it fi dem secret," said the accused.

In the caption of the post, Mr. Vegas wrote, "The predator said he caught two children in a bush "a fcuk", and they offered to pay him not to talk! Was this the same bush that you held dem down and r*ped them when my SON was 7? Keep talking! We are NOT hiding. You will not touch another child!"

Mr. Vegas also went on an Instagram live stream, explaining that three months ago, he found out that his son, CJ, was molested. Vegas hinted that when he reached out to Vanni, he initially wanted to kill Vanni but could not locate his licenced gun.

"A part a mi still wah go, yuh know... But mi cyah find mi license. Mi a search down di house and can't...So mi go anyway," Mr. Vegas said.

According to Vegas, the man confessed to him that he molested his son at 13, indicating that they were only kids at the time. It was after that confession that Vegas went live stream and started recording the man, who no longer wanted to speak after seeing the camera.

Massive 10ft Crocodile Tied Up and Displayed on the Streets of Jamaica - Watch Video

Pandemonium and excitement broke out on the streets of New Heaven in Jamaica following the capture of a massive crocodile. The large crocodile was tied up, making it motionless as a large gathering of bystanders took pictures and screamed with astonishment at the predator's size.

While the crowd grew, two men are seen in the video measuring the size of the crocodile with a tape measure; based on their calculations, they said the animal measured around 10ft.

There were members of the group that gathered around the creatures and touched the animal's back, as the skin of these creatures is used for creating clothing by humans. A woman also reacted to the length of the animal by yelling, 'Ten feet a crocs."

The crocodile was placed on the roadside, seemingly, for public viewing; the video did not show how the animal ended up on the road tied up with a cord and what seems like some form of net.

However, it is unclear if the crocodile was alive as it remained motionless for the entirety of the video posted by this_is_a_blast via Instagram. In Jamaica, it is against the law to harm endangered species, which includes crocodiles.

Mentally Ill Man Steals Car in Portland - Watch Video

This video shows the moment a mentally ill man drove away a parked car in Buff Bay, Portland.

The footage which was seemingly captured by CCTV begins with a man walking along the sidewalk followed by him entering a parked car. Moments after the man entered the car, another male can be seen entering the frame of the camera as he ran towards the car.

The second male got to the car and placed a hand through the window in an effort to stop the mentally ill man from driving off, but he failed to stop the mentally ill man who drove off as the other man dangles from the window.

The distressed man quickly set himself free from the car and watched the mentally ill man drive off. The video cut shortly after.

The video has the caption, Mad man Leon thief car a buff bay," followed by laughing emojis.

One person watch the video and jokingly said, "Dawg jus want a drive fi guh link him gyal," while another asked, "wonder if him can drive?"

Will Knee Injury Prevent Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce's Record 6th 100m Title at the World Championships?

Ten-time World Athletics champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will be vying for a record 100m title at the upcoming World Athletics championships next month in Budapest, Hungary. But with a prolonged knee injury only recently allowing Fraser-Pryce to make her 2023 debut, can the sprinter come out on top of the list of elite female athletes who will be on the hunt for gold in Budapest?

Following the cancellation of her season opener at the Botswana Golden Grand Prix in Gaborone in April, Fraser-Pryce's opening race was set for the Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi, Kenya, in May. However, her first race of the season was once again postponed after she was injured in Kenya while training for the meet.

Fraser-Pryce confirmed that she had departed the country to seek treatment, and the three-time Olympic gold medalist remained absent from the track until her season opener earlier this month in the 200m at the JAAA/Puma National Championships. Following her return to the track, Fraser Pryce went on to make her much anticipated first appearance in the 100m this year, winning with a 10.82-second finish in Lucerne on Thursday.

The athlete gained a second victory, clocking in at a similar time at the Meeting de Madrid a few days later to win the women’s 100m in a meeting record time of 10.83 seconds.

Though Fraser-Pryce's return to the 100m is a welcome sight for athletic fans, she has not yet been able to match the times of her fellow female athletes, who pose a threat to her World Championship victory. Such as Jamaican compatriot Shericka Jackson, who has a season's best of 10.65 seconds, and American Sha'Carri Richardson, who has a season's best of 10.71 seconds.

Further fueling doubts regarding her chances at securing her sixth 100m title next month are Fraser-Pryce's statements following her win in Madrid. While speaking to the press after her race, Fraser-Pryce admitted that she had not yet returned to her pre-injury form.

"If I'm being truthful, then it's no, it's not 100 percent, but you know it is what it is," Fracer-Pryce stated.

Fraser-Pryce added that she would not be placing her focus on things out of her control and would be doing her best regardless.

Bow Wow Facing Lawsuit for Allegedly Stealing Money from a 10-Y-O Girl

American rapper Shad Gregory Moss who is more commonly known as Bow Wow or Lil Bow Wow is currently being sued by the father of a young artiste who reportedly paid Bow Wow for Musical service.

A sum of money was said to be paid for a feature from the popular rapper who allegedly collected the money but never did the work.

Further reports state that, court documents detailed that the rapper was sent $3,000 through Cash App.

The father of the minor is suing for damages, including costs and attorney fees, the total amount being requested from Bow Wow is $15,000.

The young artiste who Bow Wow was to work with is a ten year old girl.

Bow Wow is yet to comment on the devloping matter.

Father Beats Man to Death For Trying to Get Into His Daughter's Bathroom Stall - Watch Video

A video has resurfaced showing a man being viciously beaten after he reportedly tried to force himself into a bathroom stall that a teenage girl was using. The man was brutally beaten by the girl's father in the parking lot of a convenience store after she told her father about the incident.

At the beginning of the video, the father, Melvin Harris, kicked Leon Armstrong, whom his daughter had pointed out. Armstrong laid face down on the ground face down and raised his head only to be kicked again.

Harris proceeded to punch him in the head and then stomped on his head as someone told him that he could stop now. There was also a woman saying that the police were coming.

There were sounds of wheezing seemingly coming from Armstrong, and Harris stood over his head, saying, "Disrespect my daughter again," as he kicked his head once more.

According to reports, Armstrong died in the hospital, and Harris was charged with manslaughter and sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Mr. Vegas Confronts Alleged Child Predator who "Molest" His Son - Watch Video

Mr. Vegas has shared that he caught a child molester who reportedly molested his son and several other boys in St. Elizabeth. The alleged predator, identified as Vanni, was caught on camera fleeing after the dancehall veteran confronted him.

According to Mr. Vegas, the man agreed to speak with him "off the air" about the allegations. Refusing to do so, Mr. Vegas recorded Vanni upon meeting him, leading to the man walking off.


In the released footage, Mr. Vegas followed him, asking, "Weh yuh wife name?...How much a di likkle bwoy dem yuh molest?"

Vanni then started to run, and Vegas chased him, asking him about the number of boys he molested while referring to him as "batty bwoy." Vanni jumped over a fence to escape the dancehall artiste, who later spoke to the suspect's wife about the molestation.

Vegas informed the woman that her husband told him they were newly married with children. He subsequently warned her to run away with her kids before her husband molested them as he did with the other children.

Vegas initially said that Vanni tried to rape his son when he was seven years old, and his son even attempted to commit suicide.

"From him a seven him start molest him. A true a nuh Jamaica mi deh mek him nuh dead," he told the woman. "And di police dem cyah do noting because a Jamaica him dweet and a foreign him deh."
