Joining a growing group of local celebs sharing their cooking skills with fans on social media, Jamaican Dancehall artiste Andre Whittaker, professionally known by his stage name Squash, showed fans how he cooks "swimmers" with white rice.
Squash, a native of Salt Springs, St. James, is the leader of one of Dancehall's most popular musical camps, the 6ix camp. Also known as the 6ix Boss, the Rate Who Rate You deejay has described himself as a jovial, fun person who does not like sadness, and gave fans a taste of his jovial personality while he prepared yellowtail snapper that the artiste dubbed "swimmers."

Squash began by cleaning his ingredients, sticking to the traditional Jamaican method of using vinegar and citrus to clean his yellowtail snappers. After dicing the various vegetables and herbs that he would be using to cook the fish, the entertainer was forced to improvise his method for cooking the fish and swap out a pot for an aluminium foil tray, as the pot was too small.
Some of the ingredients used were okra, bell peppers, onions, tomato, thyme, scallion, and ginger. While cooking, Squash specifically noted that he was keeping the meal prep area clean.
