Gully Bop's days of being a viral internet sensation might be long gone, however, the unlikely dancehall star's music is still a source of entertainment for many. American rapper Bobby Shmurda has seemingly caught the Gully Bop bug and shared a video of him dancing to one of the artiste's famous songs.
Before the likes of Peanut Dread, Mackerel, Candy, and breakout star Valiant, who would capture the Jamaican audience's attention with their interesting attitudes and trademark catchphrases, there was Gully Bop.
With the prevalence of varying social media platforms and their growing popularity, Bop was one of the first individuals who would reap the rewards of viral phenomena. A heavily circulated video of Bop singing his track Wuk Affa Mi would lead to his rise to fame in 2014.
