One of 2023's top dancehall artistes, RajahWild, secures the top spot on trending music on YouTube for Jamaica with his single Go Go as 2024 commences. Dancehall artistes Kraff, Brysco, Chronic Law, and Skippa round out the remainder of this top five list, with riddim juggling also reclaiming its place in the spotlight.
Amid the popularity of the recently rereleased Go-Go Club Riddim under its new moniker, the Dutty Money Riddim, artistes known and unknown rushed to be authorised by its producer, Rvssian. As the beat rose in popularity, so did the drama and controversy around it, with some labelling Rvssian a gatekeeper for not authorising all the artistes that wanted to be a part of it.
Skippa
Following the riddim's successful release, dancehall artiste Skippa boldly declared, “F**k that old ass beat,” as he spoke out in defence of Brysco, who appeared intent on releasing a song whether Rvssian okayed it or not.
Skippa went on to release his single Self Belief, which further shades Rvssian. Produced by Chargie Records, Self Belief takes the #5 spot on trending, having acquired over 526,000 views and 22,000 likes since its release on December 15.

Chronic Law
Amidst the success of Rvssian's Dutty Money riddim, fans then began requesting a return of Notnice's Street Vybz riddim. After teasing the beat's return with a snippet of the Chronic Law track, Weekend (Bup Bup), the producer released the complete single and official music video on December 29.
The Notnice Records-produced single has so far garnered over 264,000 views and 22,000 likes since its debut and takes the #4 spot on trending.

Brysco
Brysco's outlandish online behaviour sparked much discussion around the Dutty Money Riddim and gatekeeping. However, the controversy surrounding his unauthorized single turned out to be unnecessary, as the entire thing appears to be a well-planned publicity stunt orchestrated by him and Rvssian.
Brysco's much-debated track, Gimmi Nikki & Broad Thickaz, claims the #3 spot on trending following its debut on December 17. The song has amassed over 1.2 million views and 53,000 likes since its release.
