Donna-Lee Donaldson's Mother Mourns Her Death on Her Birthday; Says Noel Maitland Will Burn in Hell

Donna-Lee Donaldson's Mother Mourns Her Death on Her Birthday; Says Noel Maitland Will Burn in Hell

Sophia Lugg, the mother of missing social media personality Donna-Lee Donaldson, continues to mourn the passing of her daughter on what would have been her 25th birthday as the anniversary of her presumed death draws near.

Donaldson was reportedly last seen alive in the company of her boyfriend, constable Noel Maitland, who picked her up from her home on July 11, 2022. Lugg reported her daughter missing two days later after she could not contact her, and police now believe that Donaldson was killed by Maitland at his Chelsea Manor apartment in New Kingston on July 12.

Donaldson's remains have not been located.

Still struggling to come to grips with her daughter's alleged murder, Lugg expressed how lost she felt without Donaldson, whom she described as her backbone.

"Today is my daughter's birthday, my backbone, my baby girl. Wow!! I just don't know where to start, what can I say? How do i say it?? I am so sick and weak today, i am honestly tired now," Lugg wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.

The grieving mother then went on to chastise not only Maitland but also his young daughter and her mother.

"Noel, u n your whole family including your baby girl and Katty will burn in hell for what u have done to me and my family today, Yes, you heard me, i mean it, y'all will pay for this," Lugg stated.

The mother of Maitland's child, a district constable, was once rumoured to be involved in Donaldson's death. However, she was never officially linked to the crime and faced no charges after she was questioned by the authorities. Lugg subsequently thanked her supporters on Tuesday and expressed that she would not stop until she received justice for the death of her daughter "one way or the other."
