Morgan Heritage gives STELLAR Bermuda Performance Amid the Rain

The proverbial question “Can you stand the rain” was answered over the weekend by a stellar performance from The Royal Family of Reggae Morgan Heritage in Hamilton, Bermuda.


Bermuda’s Royal Gazette reported “It’s not every day that Bermudians will stand in the pouring rain to watch an artist perform. Usually by time the umbrellas come out, the crowd will disperse. Saturday night was a bit different and frankly unheard of in Bermuda.”


Morgan Heritage delighted the massive crowd with both classic and new renditions of their hit songs such as “Down By The River”, “Don’t Haffi Dread”, “She’s Still Loving Me”, and “Perform and Done” off their recently released Strictly Roots” album.

Morgan Heritage will be hitting the road this August on the “Catch A Fire” Tour with Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, and Tarrus Riley, along with special guests, Jo Mersa Marley, Jemere Morgan, and Black Am I. The tour will kick off August 29th in Philadelphia and wrap up September 27th in Los Angeles.

Morgan Heritage Embarks on the Second Leg of their North American Tour

Humbled by the feedback and success of the recently released “Strictly Roots” album which reached no. 1 on the US iTunes Reggae Chart and Billboard Reggae Chart. The album also debuted at # 2 in Switzerland and Holland, #8 in the UK, #3 in Germany and #4 in France on the iTunes Reggae Charts. The Royal Family of Reggae embarks on the second leg of their North American tour after a successful European promotional journey.



Morgan Heritage will hit the road with the first performance slated on June 24th in Albany, New York and will see the sensational roots reggae quintet which comprises siblings Peetah Morgan (vocals), Una Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Gramps Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Lukes Morgan (rhythm guitar) and Mr. Mojo Morgan (percussion/vocals. They will perform from their blockbuster album such hits as “Perform and Done” and “Light It Up” featuring Jo Mersa Marley, the grandson of the iconic Bob Marley and son of Stephen Marley.



From Boise, Idaho and Spokane Washington June 30th and July 1st alongside The Green, to New Orleans, Louisiana and Ladsom, South Caroline, Morgan Heritage will bring reggae music and all that it encompasses to non traditional markets.

Morgan Heritage recently premiered “Wanna Be Loved” (ft. Eric Rachmany of Rebelution) with ThePier.org. While Gearing Up for “Strictly Roots” Album & Tour, Morgan Heritage Takes Over International Radio and Television Airwaves


Already Deemed a classic by music industry insiders, critically acclaimed reggae band Morgan Heritage highly anticipated “Strictly Roots” Album will be released on all major digital platforms April 20th, 2015 and the physical copy on the 21st via www.MorganHeritageMusic.com


This musical endeavor is the first project produced under their own imprint label CTBC Music (Cool To Be Conscious). Morgan Heritage Dazzles the Crowd in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica

Amidst putting the finishing touches on their anticipated “Strictly Roots” upcoming album and gearing up for their world tour, Morgan Heritage took some time out to perform at renowned Jack Sprat at Treasure Beach in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica.


The crowd was brought to their feet as the reggae siblings delivered both their classic and new hits. “A few years ago I saw Morgan Heritage perform and it was one of the best concert I’ve ever attended but somehow tonight they were even better” stated one of the patrons.

The wait is finally over, Cool To Be Conscious Music Group has officially released the April tour dates and locations for the Morgan Heritage “Strictly Roots” 2015 World Tour. Fans in the United States can boast as being the first of many to witness the group, and experience their new album live in concert as they launch their “Strictly Roots” world tour.


“We always look forward to performing for our fans and touring is the ultimate performing experience to us. Simply because we get to perform new material along with the catalog for a different audience every night. All while augmenting the set night in and night out to fit a particular audience. Morgan Heritage Proves to be a Musical Rainbow Amid the Rain, Next Stop Toronto, Canada!

Despite the temperamental weather, the anticipated return of Morgan Heritage at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival was by all accounts a huge success. Music fans of all walks of life gathered to witness the Royal family of Reggae for their renowned riveting performances.


No sooner had the siblings stepped on stage than the weather started to dim and a light rain fell upon the festival, but the fans were not moved by the slight downpour as they danced heavily and sang along to the group’s soul-stirring songs such as Don’t Haffi Dread and Down By The River. Unfortunately to the dismay of the crowd, Morgan Heritage’s set was abruptly ended as the rain heightened.


Humbled and honored to share the same stage as Mariah Carey on their beloved island, Morgan Heritage mood was far from dampened by the weather. Speaking of the night, Mojo Morgan stated “Anytime you see that people are enjoying what you do regardless of the forces of nature, it tells you that you’re doing something right. We are grateful to be blessed with some of the best fans in the world and their commitment to live Reggae music was on full display.” Gramps Morgan chimed in “When the rain came down we saw it as a blessing despite we had such a show planned put the Jazz and Blues audience so we were cool in mind body soul and spirit we look forward to performing on jazz and blues again in the near future very near future hint hint”.

Morgan Heritage Returns to Jamaica Jazz & Blues Fest 2015

The Royal Family of Reggae “Morgan Heritage” will kick off 2015 by closing down the show at the acclaimed Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival in Jamaica. Deemed as the Premier Music Festival in the Caribbean, Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival 2015 boasts an impressive lineup of superstars such as multi Grammy winner Mariah Carey, Charlie Wilson, Magic, Peter Cetera, Soja, The Pointer Sisters among other notables acts.


Although the past year has seen Morgan Heritage performing worldwide, It has been 9 years since the renowned band performed at the festival. “The group is really excited to be back at the festival after so long but at the same time we’re humbled by the request from Walter Elmore and the organizers of the festival to close out our night. This is also our first performance on an International stage in Jamaica since our return.” stated Gramps Morgan.
