Vybz Kartel reveals that he filmed multiple music videos while in prison, he also detailed recording an EP consisting of almost a dozen songs, over two days in his latest interview. In the interview done on the Brando Music Review Show, the 48-year-old talked about the many books he read in prison to help pass time and other endeavours.
With regards to his latest EP, he recalled being sent the riddims by Din Din of Hemton Music, "Him send me like 11 riddim and by two day time me have 11 songs record, mix and artwork done... big up Redboom and big up Dunwell, because memba me cah mix inna prison only thing me could a mix a lemonade."
"Mi grow up a si mi father work seven days a week, suh him a teach mi hard work without teaching... We get we work ethics mainly from wi father and wi determination," said Kartel before revealing that videos were shot in prison and he contemplated releasing them while in prison.
"One thing with me enuh, me nuh like lose enuh, that's why even inna prison mi did affi find a way to record... All video mi duh inna prison but mi nuh badda release them, cause mi a seh jahknow star, mi nuh wah bait up the system fi dem pressure mi more."
Astonished by that revelation, Brando asked if he "do video!" and suggested that they be released. Vybz Kartel responded by saying that the videos will be released because "gravidity govern the earth suh everything affi drop."
On another topic, musically, he agreed to being the male Dancehall artiste who has collaborated with the most females.

He also hinted that he can release an album at anytime in the future and it doesn't make any sense he put a date on it, because in the past he stated that he will not be releasing music soon, however, he released his first song shortly after.
