Reggae sensation Chronixx recently announced, during his Acoustic Levels performance, that he is gearing up for reggae vibrations with the second staging of the Capture Land Jamaica Tour.

The tour will kick off in Spanish Town on December 18 at the José Martí Technical High School, followed by Manchester on December 19 at the Manchester High School, and then Falmouth on December 20 at the Martha Brae Rafting Village.

The second instalment of the local tour is set to deliver quality production with full sets expected from Chronixx and Zincfence Redemption.

“I hold this tour very close to my heart. The true reggae experience with a live band has for centuries been the genesis of the acceptance of our music internationally. Now, Jamaicans are no longer able to readily access this movement because of cost and accessibility of our best musicians. I have seen the love for reggae in other parts of the world, and I just want fans in Jamaica to have that opportunity to really connect with the music,” said Chronixx.

The initial tour was a huge hit, with venues filled to capacity in Negril, St Elizabeth, Portland and Kingston. Chronixx’s team is expecting no less and in fact hopes to improve the second staging.”

The first staging of the tour was an eye-opener to how much Jamaicans love reggae music and how much of a void there is where live shows of a certain quality are accessible to patrons,” said Brendon ‘Barnz’ Sharpe, Chronixx’s manager.
