Dutty Fridaze Promotions’ new signing, Savage, is making crazy moves on the Dancehall scene with his “Culu Culu” track.
Recently, Savage returned from his trip to St Martin where he did several interviews and performed for massive crowds to much delight. In one interview on SOS 95FM Radio, Savage was asked how the idea for “Culu Culu” came about where he explained that as a quick-thinking artist, he was able to come up with lyrics for the riddim of the same name without knowing the actual meaning of the term ‘Culu Culu’. But it worked and is reaping the rewards of dancing track designed with every female in mind.
The track and riddim is released under the Dutty Fridaze Promotions label with distribution being handled by 21st Hapilos. Though a Dancehall track with an African rhythmic feel, there’s also an EDM mix that is opening doors to another market entirely. The EDM version was remixed by popular producer, Blaqk Sheep, who is responsible for the most recognized hits for Dancehall duo, RDX.
Savage is an extremely versatile artist who is sure to crossover internationally if he continues on this exceptional path. More music is in his arsenal of lyrics and will be released soon. In the meantime, download the two versions of “Culu Culu” and add them to your dancing and girl segments.
