Kiprich ignores babymada diss song

Dancehall artiste iKon D Link has released a song featuring Kiprich’s baby-mother, Miss Chin, called ‘Touch Mi Nuh’, which taunts Kiprich about their sexual relationship.

An explicit sex photo was released on the Internet last month, which showed iKon and Miss Chin in a compromising position. It was later revealed by Miss Chin that the photo was stolen from her phone.

Now the deejay, who rose to the media limelight when he climbed a radio-transmission pole and threatened to jump if his song wasn’t played, has released the song with the lyrics bragging: “A gyallis iKon, the gyal inna mi bed a Kiprich gyal. She just love the tower man”.

His lyrics were followed by Miss Chin’s, who also threw some jabs at her baby father, singing: “Choke me please, and then pull mi hair nuh, iKon, mi wah siddung pon yu like chair enuh, and mi nuh care if Kippo wah hear enuh”.

Not friends

The STAR contacted iKon D Link for comment on the single. He says he and Kiprich are not friends, and he even boasted about his relationship with Miss Chin.

“We are not friends because of the picture dem that come out with me and her. We are both artistes, so we decided to do a song. This is Jamaica, and when yu tek wey boy gyal, yu nuh hide. That is why I called his (Kiprich) name. People love the song,” he said.

When contacted, Kiprich did not comment on the photo leak of his child’s mother. However, he did say he was not going to feed iKon and Miss Chin’s hunger for popularity.

“Mi nah give dem nuh hype, dem nuh exist to me. Is nine years mi nuh talk to da girl deh,” Kiprich said while refusing to give any further comment.

The song was produced by UIM Records and has received over 30,000 views on YouTube.

Kiprich And Danielle deny sex rumour

Dancehall artistes Danielle D.I and Kiprich have denied allegations made by a Twitter account called Kiprich Sting King, which claims that the artistes had sexual relations while filming the music video for their recent collaboration.

In a series of controversial posts, the Twitter account claims that the two recording artistes have been dating and even implies that Kiprich was the person who led to Danielle D.I’s failed relationship with former Jamaica and Stoke City star footballer, Ricardo Fuller.

“A me slap har wey from Fuller. Who a di reaaal baller now,” one of the tweets from Kiprich Sting King read.

The WEEKEND STAR contacted Kiprich for clarification and he said persons have been targeting his social network pages since the start of the year.

“This is a fake Twitter account, my real account is Kiprich Nuh Behaviour. I wouldn’t guh mek another twitter account fi talk things bout people. A just some mischievous people, me and D.I just do a song and video called Hear The Pree, and we bring out the concept in the video. When a man a guh call people name dem thing deh nuh good, me wouldn’t do that. That’s not my style,” he continued.

Get a grip

“The last time dem target mi Facebook a try get money from people and now this. Some people just idle and need something to do. Get a grip, get a hold a yu life man. I am a private person, I am more the sneaky type,” Kiprich said.

Danielle D.I also criticised the creators of the Twitter page, claiming that they were trying to hamper the progress of Hear The Pree.

“Are you serious, sex on set of a video? What kind of groupie business dat dem a pull off pan mi? This pass devastating. I woke up in such a good mood, I don’t know why people come up with this right now. Imagine you are trying to move forward and people are trying to drag you backwards. I have a very private life and I have moved on with my life, so I am deeply hurt to hear comments like this. Just stop being malicious and stop hating … oh God,” she said.

Danielle D.I and Kiprich recently released a raunchy trailer for their video for Hear Di Pree that will be officially released in July. She also has a new single titled, Heads Up produced by Sly and Robbie. Kiprich is also promoting the single Loyalty Over Royalty and will soon be leaving for Canada alongside Outaroad Records label mate Berri.

The Kiprich Sting King account now has over 2,000 followers, while Kiprich’s original account Kipponubehavior has over 25,000 followers.

KipRich wants to close "Dancehall Night" at Sumfest

The latest twist in the closing of Reggae sumfest “Dancehall Night Saga” is that Dancehall star KipRich has declared that he is ready to close Dancehall Night at Reggae Sumfest 2014 in Montego Bay since fellow artiste I Octane is chickening out from the responsibility.
KiprichSpeculation as to who should close the show has been playing out in the media recently. Sumfest organisers have asked I-Octane to close the show but he has somewhat declined, claiming that Mr Vegas should do this. Vegas has said that Octane should, however, do this.

“Ah the first mi ever see this in the industry where an artiste is announcing to the world that he doesn’t want to close a major reggae show. Mi close Sting two years straight, and Sting ah the most intimidating show on the planet, so mi know mi can do a good job at Sumfest. Mi waan close it, mi ready fi the responsibility so why dem a run from the occasion? How dem a run down bigmanship but when yuh see what it entails, everybody ah run up and down like dem nah no head?” KipRich asked.

He added that he had worked reggae shows all over the world, and usually, artistes allow promoters to decide the running order of a show.

“Whatever time a promoter want you fi work, that’s the time artistes should work. Artistes don’t work fi please other artistes. Remember as an artiste, yu a work fi please the fans, yu need to give the fans dem a show. Your primary responsibility is to entertain and give them their money’s worth, so since when it become about trying to embarrass another artiste or about how yu feel? … It is always about the fans,” an upset KipRich said.

Kiprich, who is a certified crowd-pleaser and a veteran of many reggae-dancehall shows, called on the promoters to use him instead.

“Mi never see dancehall come to this, where artistes ah run from the occasion. Mi close the International Kite Fest the other day and the people dem wait pon me, and mi mek sure mi have a real show fi dem. So why dem a clown out dancehall with argument ’bout dem nuh waan close? How much more demwant Beenie Man and Bounty Killer fi bear? What about the future of the business? Stop hide from the real ting dem and use the media fi confuse the issue. If yu say yu a de big man, and yu work hard for that title, then step forward. Mi ready fi close it, Gourzong, line up de money!”
