Jahmiel Slated to Perform at Sting 2014

Jamaica (MPR Consulting) – Although the young artist has been on the musical scene for several years, 2014 has revived and redefined Jahmiel’s career in many facets. Jahmiel’s slew of hit singles and videos have topped the various international charts, various performances at UWI College Show, Lime 5th annual Skool Aid and to top off the year a slated performance at the renowned Reggae Sting 2014.

Humbled by the honor of taking the prestigious stage, Jahmiel will perform a medley of his hit singles such as “Cut Dem Off”, “Real Father” and “Struggles”. “This is actually my second time performing at sting, but for me its always a pleasure. I’ve been going to sting from the late 1990′s as a kid with my dad aka Real Father. Now is the time for me to be on that same platform I’ve seen some great acts on that I respect. Give Jah thanks, this is jus another thought becoming reality.” stated the young star.

This year’s staging of Magnum Sting will see a full-blown reggae show. On December 26, Jamworld, St Catherine, will host not one, but two major festivals: reggae and dancehall – featuring today’s giants of reggae and top dancehall acts, so patrons will get two shows with one ticket.

No rest for the weary as Jahmiel kicks off the new year with a performance at “The Return of Drewsland Jamboree” on January 2nd alongside international reggae star Sizzla, Aidonia, Ninja Man and the release of his anticipated video for his Notnice Records produced hit “Struggles”. Filmed on location in Jamaica the video was directed by Ricardo Williams and Lila Anderson.

Magnum Sting’s stage opens at 8 p.m. with emerging artistes, and the roots rocking reggae show runs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. At 2 a.m., the dancehall explosion begins. Sting climaxes with an anticipated clash.

Over the past weekend, fathers were acknowledged through the various social media sites, from facebook to twitter, with dedicated poems, music, pictures and various anecdotes in honor of “Father’s Day”.

In the midst of the worldwide phenomena that is 2014 FIFA World Cup, England national football team professional footballer Raheem Sterling took to twitter to reflect on his departed father “Happy Father’s Day dad 17 years gone but not forgotten, @itsJahmiel real fathers touch me, love you dad, everything I do is for you”. Born in Kimgston, Jamaica, Raheem plays as a winger for Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team.

Having just released the video for “Real Fathers”, Jahmiel is elated that the message is heard. “This is why I make music, to touch people, and I am happy to know that the song brought Raheem some comfort” says the young singer

Jahmiel To Perform Live on CVM At Sunrise this Wednesday May 21st

On the eve of his EP release showcase, reggae crooner Jahmiel will give fans and music lovers a sample by performing live on the Jamaican Morning Show ‘CVM at Sunrise. The show which broadcast live in Jamaica, can also be seen via their live stream www.cvmtv.com/live_stream.php

The singjay will perform live and talk with the show hosts of his upcoming showcase in which he will perform songs from his “Mission EP”, live and backed up by Warrior Love Band and various projects slated for his busy summer. The EP release showcase will take place the following day, Thursday May 22nd, 2014 in Kingston, Jamaica, and is open to the public.

The hit filled EP titled “Mission” features tracks by such acclaimed producers as Notnice and Rokus Records to name a few. “The Mission” EP will thereafter be available to download for all his fans and music lovers on his management soundcloud at CITY ROCK ENT.
