Queen Ifrica Shows Lawsuit Papers: Says She's

On Thursday, Queen Ifrica born Ventrice Morgan showed papers relating to the lawsuit she was hit with by her father and brothers following the rape accusations she made against her father in 2023.


Over a year ago, in August of 2023, Queen Ifrica dragged her father online, stating that her "daddy don't touch me there" lyrics were a result of her being sexually assaulted by her father Derrick Morgan. She detailed that she was staying at his house while she was younger when she was violated by the popular Jamaican musician.


She stated, “Me wake up inna the hours to me father trying fi penetrate me sexually, hold me dung inna the bed and have sex wid me and tell me seh him wife nah have no sex wid him, so him haffi dweet wid me.”


Months ago, days after several TikTokers, notably Mackerel dragged Derrick Morgan online, news surfaced that a lawsuit was filed on June 12, 2024 in the Supreme Court of Jamaica for damages to the veteran musician’s career.

Regarding the lawsuit, Queen Ifrica‘s brother Merrick Morgan stated, “We are anxious to have the matter properly ventilated in court and we look forward to clearing my father’s considerable good name of these terrible and malicious allegations.”


Derrick Morgan’s family acquired a Jamaican lawyer to ‘ventilate’ the matter in court.


In her latest live chat, done on Instagram, Thursday October 17, Queen Ifrica doubled down on her earlier accusations against her father, stating, "Mi father wrong fi wah him duh to mi... him did only si mi as somebody weh yuh can pray up on, because him neva si mi as him daughter... blind is no excuse... He did do what he do that night."


She also showed the court documents.

She went on to call out her brothers by name as she outlined that she's not afraid of the court battle that is ahead, "Mi ready fi go a court and talk my side and mek Derrick Morgan come talk fi him side."


Known for hits like 'Daddy' and 'Lioness on the Rise,' Queen Ifrica has built a reputation for addressing social issues through her music. However, nowadays she has been projecting her voice on social media, calling out several leaders of the country, claiming that they are working together to the detriment of the Jamaican people.


During the live chat, she mentioned Romeich, Swiiss Lee and others.


"Stop eat KFC, stop drink rum," she also declared during the lengthy live chat, stating that the food and drinks we love are being poisoned.
