Fetty Wap hints at future collabs with Drizzy

The ever-elusive, coveted Drake co-sign is often quite fleeting and opportunistic on his part, usually coming in the form of a verse laid atop an already-bubbling track without the promise of future collabs.

Since he kicked the door in on their “Versace” party, Drizzy hasn’t given Migos the time of day, and although he signed iLoveMakonnen off the strength of their joint “Tuesday” remix, the OVO boss hasn’t seemed to be very focused on furthering the moon-eyed crooner’s career since.

However, something differnt might be in the cards for Fetty Wap, who with “Trap Queen,” “My Way” and a slew of mini hits courtesy of Soundcloud, has seemed to be a pretty consistent hitmaker.

In his new interview with Big Boy, Fetty hints at future collabs with Drizzy, saying, “I don’t want to spill the beans, but we got something big planned.” What could that entail? Start speculating.

Meek Mill had to Remove his Drake Diss "Wanna Know" From Soundcloud After WWE Sent Him a Cease and Desist

Last night, Meek Mill removed his Drake diss song, “Wanna Know,” from Soundcloud, less than two weeks after he released it. He also posted a comment on Instagram indicating that he was moving on from his beef with the Canadian rapper, which would explain why he removed the song from Soundcloud. But as it turns out, that isn’t the real reason Meek Mill took the song down.

Complex Sports spoke with a source close to the situation this afternoon who revealed that Meek Mill removed the song after receiving a cease and desist from the WWE on Tuesday. “Wanna Know” features a sample of The Undertaker’s theme music on the first half of the song, which prompted the WWE to put out a statement about it the day after it was originally released.

Meek Mill still hasn’t released an official statement about the song’s removal from Soundcloud. Stay tuned for additional details.

Lil Wayne"s Tour Bus Shooting Suspect, told Wayne he"d "Spray His Bus"

Jimmy Winfrey, the suspect in Lil Wayne’s tour bus shooting, allegedly told Wayne he’d “spray his bus.”

Although we still have no idea when Jimmy Winfrey, the man accused of shooting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus earlier this year, will be going to trial, new details continue to emerge in the case. The latest development involves the prosecution adding a charge of domestic terrorism to Winfrey’s indictment, thanks to some new evidence of threat he made to Wayne before the shooting.

The prosecution alleges that Winfrey told Weezy that he’d “spray his bus,” although it’s unclear when the exchange occurred. It could very well have happened just before the shooting, when Winfrey was kicked out of a club for “harassing Wayne.”

The new indictment still claims that Birdman and Young Thug conspired with Winfrey, but it does not specify what they’re being charged with (if they’re even going to be charged at all).

Young Thug says "I Can Write A Perfect Song In 10 Minutes"

Today, Dazed magazine published an extensive profile of Young Thug that also features Thugger’s productive, ambitious entourage of 10 older siblings plus countless cousins and, of course, his fiancée. Young Thug’s mother also talked to the magazine, revealing that her home is filled with framed, charcoal drawings of her son and his earliest mentor, Gucci Mane.

The profile underscores Thugger’s childhood, come-up, and love for Atlanta; his odd conversational style; and his unconventional approach to songwriting.

“I did a song in eight minutes,” Young Thug tells Dazed. “I thought everybody could write songs that fast. But working with a lot of them, they don’t. Wayne and Drake, it takes them so long to do a song. I understand why, because they want it to be perfect. But I think I can do a perfect song in ten minutes.”

“I did ‘Danny Glover’ in eight minutes,” Thugger explains. “‘Stoner’ took me almost an hour.”

Drake not finished with Meek Mill yet!

Drake says “I’m the Canadian guy making all the American guys mad” at his Squamish Festival performance.

Until Drake drop his rumored “3 Peat” diss track, it looks like his beef with Meek Mill will be yielding increasingly unimportant runoff. This morning, a guy who wasn’t dissed in the first place released a diss track in response to a diss track by another guy who wasn’t directly dissed (confusing, we know), and now Drake’s resorting to something a little less in-your-face than the meme warfare at OVO Fest at his shows.

Performing at Squamish Festival over the weekend, Drizzy opted for a subliminal shot at Meek after a performance of “Back To Back,” saying, “I’m the Canadian guy making all the American guys mad.” This is a little more Drizzy’s speed, in terms of his track record with beefs, but he may bare his teeth again if “3 Peat” ever drops.

Tyga Buys Kylie Jenner A dope Ferrari 458 For Her 18th Birthday

In honor of his relationship with Kylie Jenner finally becoming legal, Tyga bought his girlfriend a Ferrari.

Who do you think was happier on Kylie Jenner’s 18th birthday, her or Tyga? The couple, who have been linked since as early as December 2013, can finally have a legal relationship devoid of statutory contact, and they kicked off this new chapter of their romance with a bang. T-Raww surprised Ms. Jenner with a 458 Ferrari convertible, estimated to cost around $260K.

TMZ reports that Tyga had the car outfitted with a bow and transported to sit outside the club where Jenner was having her birthday party. The gossip site claims that this car “blows away” the 2013 Mercedes G-Wagon she was driving before.

We do have some questions though. With Tyga currently being sued by video dancers, ex-landlords, promotions companies, former business partners and more, and his Gold Album moving just 2,200 copies in its opening week and subsequently being taken off iTunes, can he afford this? If not, Kylie definitely could.

Tony Matterhorn wins Dream Weekend clash

Iconic sound system selector Tony Matterhorn entered the World Vibes Clash at Dream Weekend with several strikes against his name.

However, even with all the negative publicity surrounding his brand, the veteran still managed to defeat a crop of vibrant sound systems who were hungry for the taste of a veteran’s blood in musical warfare.

Matterhorn was last to play in each round, and, with that arrangement, each selector took aim at his colourful social media character and a recently released photo which showed him posing with two persons said to be females which, however, resembled drags. The same photo also embroiled Gully Bop, MC Nuffy and Matterhorn in a heated social media feud last week which saw the selector issuing threats of violence.

Redd Heat, Di Unit, Jugglerz and Grenade all had high moments during their sets. However, Tony Matterhorn, after soaking up all the slander from the selectors, seemed to touch the stage with a vengeance.

He started his set with a slew of Sizzla dubplates and also whipped each opposing selector with a number of fiery expletives as the patrons cheered him on. Even some of those fans, who were not fond of Matterhorn’s online antics, couldn’t help but give him credit for the way he brutally converted his online rage into musical battle.

Overseas-based sound system Jugglerz, perhaps got the worst of Matterhorn’s insults. Selling themselves as last year’s clash winner, they felt they had enough ammunition to defeat the Matterhorn, however

his insults were just too much for the fans to ignore.

Matterhorn not only questioned their manhood, sexual practices and musical skills, but even went as far as to call them culture vultures and racists, comparing the German sound to Christopher Columbus, who he claimed was a thief.

“After mi guh Canada and tek a picture with two gyal dem ….. a talk bout mi tek picture with drags. That simply mean sey unno have b….. eyes. Unno guh chuck through unno m….. Yu see as Nuffy and Gully Bop call up mi name crosses reach dem, a wi kill enuh,” he said and played Buju Banton’s Boom Bye Bye to roaring approval.

Not even host of the show, Renaissance Jazzy T, was spared Matterhorn’s wrath. “Yu sell out Jamaica fi euro….,” Matterhorn said and played an explicit dubplate bashing the veteran.

Jazzy T, who did not travel prepared for a clash was forced to defend his honour, and, luckily, he had a French Montana dubplate and Demarco special which helped him save face in the wake of Tony Matterhorn’s spontaneous attack.

At the end of the music, slander and brawl, Tony Matterhorn walked away as the winner. However even in victory he still threw a few jabs at his opponents stating that he would rather be beaten by Badda Bling of Di Unit or another up-and-coming Jamaican sound system than be defeated by a German sound.

Appleton’s Dream Weekend concluded last night with a J’Ouvert, starring Machel Montano.

Drake Records new Meek Mill Diss Song

Drake is planning to unleash a third diss song on Meek Mill and it could come as early as this weekend.

Earlier this week the Philly rapper dropped a new freestyle on stage during his PinkPrint tour stop in New Jersey calling out Drake for beefing with him over his girlfriend Nicki Minaj.

Sources are telling us that Drake didn’t take too kindly the jab and has already recorded a third diss song where he will address the whole Nicki Minaj saga.

“Drizzy will end Meek with this one and if you think he went hard on “Back To Back” then he even went harder on this track,” sources said. “I don’t think Meek or Nicki or the world is ready for what Drake has in store. At the moment he is even contemplating on whether or not he should drop this third diss. Man it’s crazy how dope this guy is. He is in a whole league by himself just seeing him in the studio working.”

Meek Mill is making it clear that his beef with Drake is solely about his obsession with Nicki Minaj and not about rapping.

Shooter Says Birdman is responsible for tour Lil Wayne"s tour bus Shooting

Jimmy Winfrey claims Birdman’s legal imbroglio with Lil Wayne was reason for tour bus shooting.

Jimmy Winfrey, Young Thug’s former tour manager and the man arrested for shooting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus in April, believes that Birdman “should be held liable as a party to the crime,” reports TMZ.

In newly surfaced court documents, Winfrey is on the record saying that [Birdman"s] financial dispute with [Lil Wayne] is what ultimately led to the shooting.” According to an indictment delivered in July, Winfrey made a call to a phone owned by Birdman prior to the shooting. Birdman vehemently denied any involvement.

Birdman and Wayne are currently in the midst of a $51 million legal battle. We will keep you updated with further developments as Birdman prepares his rebuttal to Winfrey’s new allegations.
