Nesbeth"s "Taste Victory" is No.1 on the Jamaica Reggae Charts

Reggae artiste Nesbeth is having a breakout year in 2015, charting new territories and winning over a legion of new fans locally and internationally with his critically acclaimed album, ‘Victory’

The strong showing of the album has led to numerous show offers in Europe, and the artiste has been confirmed for the Reggae Geel Festival in Belgium and the Reggae Jam festival in Germany.

The lead single, Taste Victory, has been No.1 on the Jamaica Countdown charts for the last three weeks, plus it has hit No.1 for two weeks on Shock Radio (UKUniversity), No.1 for three weeks on the UK weekly reggae chart and No.1 for two weeks on the Stampede Street Chart in Jamaica.”I feel gratified that the single is doing so well, and that the EP continues to sell in Europe. The reggae fans are responding and there are four shows pending for dates in Europe for my upcoming tour this summer,” Nesbeth said.

Nesbeth is in pre-production with a new music video for the Hundu Lay Lay single from his EP. The hard-working reggae singer is not satisfied with all the success he has garnered in 2014.

“I am still in the studio, the work never really ends,” he said.

Last year, Nesbeth earned kudos for his Ole Gangalee single, produced by United States-based Kushface Records,that topped charts in Jamaica, Europe and the Caribbean.

“Ole Gangalee is still selling well in Europe, and is in rotation on many stations all over the world,” he said.

On January 16th, Reggae Star Nesbeth delivered an unforgettable heartfelt performance at the 2015 Rebel Salute in front of a sea of thousands of music lovers flooding Plantation Cover in St-Ann, Jamaica.

As Nesbeth took the stage with his backing band, fans began cheering which fueled the star for a powerful performance of Board House and Ole Ganga Lee. The massive crowd of fans never stopped dancing and singing along as Nesbeth hit a stride with an acoustic rendition of Hundu Lay Lay delivered by kettle drummers, and accompanied by a soulful spiritual performance with dance Xpression . The reggae star continued on with Guns Out and Marijuna. To finish the set, Nesbeth performed the title track of his recently released EP “Taste Victory” surrounded by his enthusiastic team. As he left the stage, the crowd continued to cheer for minutes upon end.


Still reeling from the show, Nesbeth commented “Rebel Salute was an excellent show, as for my performance ,I felt 100% pleased. I delivered my set from a spiritual Point and I could feel the natural vibration connecting connecting to the souls of the Rebel Salute patrons.”

Trodding on a righteous and positive musical journey, reggae Star Nesbeth is gearing up for his third appearance on the annual critically acclaimed Rebel Salute music festival in Jamaica. The spoken words star will take his place at Rebel Salute 2015 among some of the biggest names in reggae music such as Tarrus Riley, Tony Rebel, Capleton, Bugle, Etana and other reggae ambassadors.

Backed by a live band, this year performance will feature the hit singles from his recently released “Victory” EP. In explaining the difference with past year’s performance, Nesbeth stated “I’m more excited than before, because of my many accomplishments throughout 2014. Nesbeth"s Album Release Party a "Victory" According to Rave Reviews

On the graceful and well manicured lawns of the famed Pegasus Hotel in Jamaica, reggae star Nesbeth took the stage to perform and unveil his “Victory” EP.

The event attended by media, notables, various celebrities and a select group of lucky fans, was streamed live to worldwide reggae music lovers, and saw Nesbeth not only perform from his hit filled EP, but classic favorites. Having performed to sold out crowds many times over in his career, this performance was more personal and special to Nesbeth as he was given creative control by his new label UK Based Entertainment Soul Records on his EP. Of “Victory”. Nesbeth recently explained his aim to the media “I want to make music that will stand the test of time.”

The memorable evening saw the artist perform his eclectic EP with the vibes ranging from tribal sounds to traditional Reggae. Backed by a live band, Nesbeth thrilled the crowd with Hundu Lay Lay, Marijuana, Jah Jah Handpick, Taste Victory, Even Though to follow up with his chart topping hits like Ole Gangalee, Board House, Gunz Out, Friends For Sale and I Love Her. To add to the excitement of the night, nesbeth fellow reggae stars Hezron, Nature and rising artist Nyashane also touched the stage.
