Gully Bop asking Obama to forgive Shauna Chin

From the gully to the money Entertainer Gully Bop is asking US President Obama to forgive his fiance’ Shauna Chin and allow her to re-enter the US.

Chin was involved in a serious car accident in Duncans Trelawny on Saturday while returning to Kingston. She received neck injuries, a gash in her head and other cuts and bruises.

However, in an interview prior to the accident, Gully Bop who is now in the US for the first time on tour, in an interview posted by Caribbean American Media, Bop pleads to the US government to forgive Shauna Chin of any wrong doing, while she was in the US.

Gully Bop on Drugs?

After scathing remarks by his former booking agent, Heavy D, Gully Bop’s fiancé, Shauna Chin, is now seeking to set the record straight regarding Gully Bop’s alleged drug problem.

Gully Bop released a video via social media, accusing his booking agent of robbing him.

“If me follow Heavy D, me end up back inna the gully. Me nuh want him or Nuffy near me. Them man deh a rob me. Same way them mash dung Tommy Lee (Sparta), a same way them want mash me dung,” Gully Bop stated.

However, in a release sent to THE WEEKEND STAR on Wednesday, Heavy D countered these claims, stating that Gully Bop was out of control and almost impossible to work with. He also said he would no longer be working with Gully Bop.

“He does not want any agent fees or expenses to be deducted from income received. Sometimes I feel like we have another Whitney Houston case on our hands. Bop needs rehab and this is no joke,” the statement from Heavy D read.

Affect his visa

Shauna Chin, however, vehemently denied these claims. She insisted that these allegations were only said to damage Gully Bop’s career.

“I am Bop’s rehab. He has no drug problem. They want people to think he is a coke head, and that’s not true. They are only trying to take the heat off themselves. This can affect his visa, damage his career, etc.. It’s a lie and it hurt me really bad. Bop knows the type of person I am, he knows I don’t condone those things. He doesn’t wanna lose me, so he would not do that,” she told THE WEEKEND STAR.

According to Chin, Heavy D does not want them to see the contracts regarding the shows and that is where the problem lies.

“If me and Gully Bop nuh get mad pon them, we nuh see the contracts. So we have trust issues with him. It’s almost as if they want to do their own thing and we must just accept it. Recently, a promoter told Gully Bop a figure that he had paid to book him and that was not the figure that Heavy D told us. We have even heard that they are overcharging for his dub plates,” she said.

Treated fairly

She added that they have to take steps to ensure that Gully Bop is being treated fairly and getting the money he deserves.

“They are saying that he gives his money to poor people, but Bop is a generous person. He knows what sufferation feels like, so he’s always trying to help people. The issue is that they want to call the shots. Is like dem feel say a dem a the artiste. We aren’t trying to damage anybody’s career, but right is right,” Chin added.

With Heavy D no longer handling his bookings, Chin stated that she will now step up to the plate.

“I have not seen any contracts for any of the upcoming shows, so I need to get those. Heavy D has paid me some deposit, but I haven’t seen the contracts to see what is what. I don’t have anything against them. I wish them all the best. Do good and good will follow, but do bad and crosses will tek you,” Chin said in reference to Heavy D.

Gully Bop and Tony Matterhorn in Dirty online feud

Just days after arriving in the United States of America on his newly acquired visa, dancehall artiste Gully Bop is already stirring up controversy. This time with fiery selector Tony Matterhorn.

In a video posted online recently, MC Nuffy asked Gully Bop what was the matter with Tony Matterhorn, to which Gully Bop responded, “him come a foreign a make man rub down him belly like jelly … Me see it pon Facebook, it nah hide. It deh pon the In ternet.”

Egged on further by Nuffy, Gully Bop also added, “The one Matterhorn b…. gone.” Nuffy followed with, “Matterhorn yuh dead.”

That video seemed to be in reference to a photo that surfaced online some weeks ago with Matterhorn posing with two persons. As the photo circulated, there were also some persons alleging that the two fans were in fact men dressed as women.

However, the recent video from Gully Bop and MC Nuffy did not go down well with Tony Matterhorn, who is known as the ‘talk you mind/ after dark clan leader.

In several scathing posts on Instagram on Monday night, Matterhorn blasted both Nuffy and Gully Bop, accusing them of partaking in crude acts. Not even Shauna Chin, Gully Bop’s fiancée, was spared his wrath.

“B….boy Nuffy weh run wey from Portmore, ugly Gully Bop whe … all dog inna the gully and you f… out wife Chin, unuh caan style me as b…..boy. Me a real gyalis. Me f… more p…. dan unuh can get inna unuh life,” he said in the post.

But that wasn’t enough, spurred on by his loyal fans, Matterhorn continued posting more videos insulting the trio.

“…unuh a come try style me, me nuh run b…. joke wid nobody. Anytime unuh see me, mek sure unuh have it. That’s all me haffi say. Unuh a look hype pon Facebook, make sure unuh have it.

He later posted that he had been maintaining his cool because of his kids, but that enough was enough.

“You know wha, f…. the kids. Unuh been a draw me out, me draw out now. So anytime unuh see me, mek sure unuh have unuh gun. It simple, nuh argument nuh inna it. So me a tell unuh from now, anytime unuh see me, expect anything,” Matterhorn added.

He also advised his fans to tell his children that he loves them because of what was to come.

“Me must kill one a dem p…. deh, a swear to God. Make God help me, but I rather dead inna shoot-out than turn a b….man.”

When contacted, Gully Bop told THE STAR that he was unconcerned with the threats made by Tony Matterhorn.

“Everything weh me do on tour always a record. Nobody nuh business wid him (Matterhorn). Across the world is only the cigarette people know ’bout. Him just get up and a run with it! Furthermore, if is a competition to see who have more man, me sure know Matterhorn beat Chin. Me a smoke me cigarette and relax miself, me nuh want no man come tek me on. Me hear him a disrespect mi wife on the Internet, but make him know him have to go apologise to Miss Shauna Chin too.”

According to Keona Williams, Gully Bop’s manager, the artiste is renowned for his humour and intends no harm.

“He is from humble beginnings and does not discriminate,” she said.
