Yardhype features Chilando... been going big in 2015







From his Reggae Sumfest debut to the release of his long-awaited EP (Extended Play) release, fast rising western Jamaica-based reggae artiste Chilando has been going big in 2015.

The entertainer, born Chilando Spencer, told The Team in a recent interview that his career has take a sharp rise since the year began, large in part to the huge investment into his image and music by him and his team.


“My performance was high-octane and full of energy,” said the artiste who is already anticipating next year’s staging. Chilando did a lot of other Major events including Montego Bay Crab Fest, Montego Bay Jerk Fest and Outrage.


Aside from aspect of the year, Chilando is also particularly beaming with the summer release of his EP titled ‘Live On Forever’ which the singjay noted is doing good so far.


“The ‘Live On Forever’ EP comprises of 10 tracks. Seven are reggae songs and the other three are dancehall, and are produced by DJ Frass Records, Major Label Music Group and more,” explained Chilando in addition to his Show Di Vybz Records.


He added that the EP is out on iTunes and is distributed by Zojak World Wide that is also responsible for another project.


“Show Di Vybz Records released the ‘Fondness’ rhythm and a CD titled ‘Enjoy the Music’ comprising of 20 tracks from different dancehall artiste,’ he outlined.

Chilando further dropped a number of music videos for 2015, some of which are for songs featured on the EP. These include ‘Give Me More Time’, ‘Pay Day’ and ‘Food Affi Eat’ among more.


‘Officer’ and ‘Hot it Up’ are other singles the artiste debut in year as he now looks to prospects of 2016.


“We have some events, videos and new singles coming up in 2016 plus you can expect the new music to have a stronger concept and addressing certain social issues,” he said.
