Just moments after defending his 200m world championship title, Usain Bolt was knocked down by a cameraman.

“They tried to kill me,” Bolt said jokingly after the fall.

While celebrating, a cameraman on a Segway (two wheeled vehicle) crashed into the athlete causing both of them to tumble.

Bolt being the showman he is quickly turned the fall into a back flip as he rolled over, landed on his feet and hopped off.

After regaining his composure, he walked back to the cameraman to make sure he was OK, too.

“It took me out pretty well,” Bolt said. “But I’m OK. No issues so I’m happy about it.”

We hope he wasn’t hurt as he intends to extend his record and land an 11th World Championship gold in the relay.
