The “Gal A Bubble” artist says he was inspired by a number of reggae artists like Bob Marley, Bounty Killer, Sizzla and Vybz Kartel. When it comes to lyricism in reggae, Konshens says the conversation never overshadows his genre because mainstream listeners aren’t understanding what they’re saying. As far as the most lyrical artist in reggae, Konshens puts himself last, Beres Hammond second and Vybz Kartel at the top spot.
