This Year T.O.K celebrates 15 years of hard work and well-deserved success. Since they’ve had their first no° 1 hit in Jamaica in 1999 they’ve been constantly on their way up. This year in autumn T.O.K delights us with a new single in combination with Jr. Reid and Maino, dedicated to an important topic:
“In Jamaica, it is a tradition to pour some liquor in memory of a friend or family member that has passed. It’s a way to salute them especially if they used to drink as well. In that case we pour the favourite drink of that person and it’s important to do so first before anyone drinks from the bottle. It shows respect to the spirit of that loved one. The beat inspired this song and the message as well. Salute all the fallen soldiers!!!”
