Jamaican singer-songwriter Duane Stephenson drops his stylish, retro-flavored video – directed by Ras Kassa – for his rendition of the Bunny Wailer classic “Cool Runnings.” The song is the first single off his upcoming album Dangerously Roots, slated to drop September 23, 2014 on Greensleeves. After spending the past three years touring as lead vocalist with the Original Wailers, Stephenson makes a strong return with his solo studio effort.
The album features his unmistakable voice paired with world class productions from Clive Hunt, Dean Fraser, Christopher Birch, Phillip ‘Winta’ James and Donovan Germain as well as featured guest collabs with Tarrus Riley, I-Octane, Lutan Fyah and Mutabaruka.
