Queen Ifrica Shows Lawsuit Papers: Says She's

On Thursday, Queen Ifrica born Ventrice Morgan showed papers relating to the lawsuit she was hit with by her father and brothers following the rape accusations she made against her father in 2023.

Over a year ago, in August of 2023, Queen Ifrica dragged her father online, stating that her "daddy don't touch me there" lyrics were a result of her being sexually assaulted by her father Derrick Morgan. She detailed that she was staying at his house while she was younger when she was violated by the popular Jamaican musician.

She stated, “Me wake up inna the hours to me father trying fi penetrate me sexually, hold me dung inna the bed and have sex wid me and tell me seh him wife nah have no sex wid him, so him haffi dweet wid me.”

Months ago, days after several TikTokers, notably Mackerel dragged Derrick Morgan online, news surfaced that a lawsuit was filed on June 12, 2024 in the Supreme Court of Jamaica for damages to the veteran musician’s career.

Safaree Releases Videos of Erica Mena as Their Drama Reignites: She Fires Back

The drama between Safaree Lloyd Samuels and ex-wife Erica Jasmin Mena is a topic of discussion again as the former couple go back and forth online over 'deadbeat dad' name calling.

Erica Mena called out ex-husband Safaree in a video shared Wednesday morning, citing that he has been partying in Jamaica and not attending to his kids like he should in America. In another video done recently, she also called out Safaree for his charitable deeds in Jamaica, stating that he was faking to look good.

As per the estranged American actress, model, singer and video vixen, Safaree who was born in New York to Jamaican parents does not care enough for his children to care for other children that are not his.

"You guys seen this individual literally dance his life away in Jamaica while his last born was in the ICU, sorry NICU," she said before outlining that the deadbeat dad name for Safaree was given by people online, something she agrees with.

She also has been commenting on several social media pages.

The videos and comments from Mena prompted Safaree to fire back at the woman with whom he shares two kids via a video of his own Wednesday evening, October 17, 2024. He also leaked some of their messages.

"I love my kids... it's gett'n to the point where i have to put my self first," he said before detailing that the first time his kids spent time with him at a condo, following the divorce, he was sad. He also says it promoted him to buy a house so that they would have space to play.

As per Safaree, Mena's 16-year-old son does not want to live with her because of her behaviour, "If i ever had to live with my mother i would kill myself," Safaree recalled the son telling him about Erica.

Safaree detailed that Mena sent pictures of his private part to his sister and mother.

Erica has since clapped back at Safaree's video with several lengthy statements.

In one of two posts made on Wednesday, Mena stated the following as a caption, "Explain why I was so enraged because how you violated my body. I wanted answers. You have been gaslighting - violating me and leaving for dead on such much when it comes to the kids. All your receipts are from 2023 mines are from 2024. Do you really want me to post you begging for me back just this past May on your knees in front of our kids?"

Shabba Ranks' Ting-A-Ling Marks 32nd Anniversary

Shabba Ranks' Ting-A-Ling Marks 32nd Anniversary

For over three decades, Ting-A-Ling has stood as one of Shabba Ranks' signature tracks, and the popular song marks its 32nd anniversary this year.

Born Rexton Gordon, Shaba Ranks's flamboyancy and energy made him a standout performer in both the local and international 1980s and 1990s Dancehall scene. Following the release of successful tracks like Mr. Lover Man and Twice My Age, the deejay went on to release Ting-A-Ling on his Grammy-winning album X-tra Naked.

Shabba Ranks

Produced by iconic Jamaican producers Wycliffe 'Steely' Johnson and Cleveland 'Clevie' Browne, Ting-A-Ling samples Bunny Wailer's nursery rhyme-laden single Back to School. Ting-A-Ling, intern, has been sampled by artistes such as Burna Boy and Nicki Minaj as it sustains its popularity, with the song currently his top streaming track on Apple Music.

Shabba combines both a childish playfulness that fills Ting-A-Ling with 90s childhood nostalgia and the bravado and energy he became well known for. The music video reinforces this with scenes from a school of rowdy students and Shabba Ranks taking to the streets as he declares himself as the general of the "deejay army."

"Ting-a-ling a ling, Dancehall it swing. DJ ears cock up when him hear boom riddim. Ting-a-ling a ling, School bell a ring. Knife and fork ah fight fi dumpling. Booyaka! Booyaka! Call for Shabba Rankin. Shabba Ranks disappear and tear another man chin. Dem a di don, to di biz we have di key. Put di don to di key and turn him inna donkey," Shabba sings on the track.
